Who is AOM?

AOM stands for Art of Motion. AOM stands for Art of Motion. We curate a portfolio of precision mechanical and kinetic works — hand-picked from trusted makers around the world — for collectors who appreciate craftsmanship, engineering, and the quiet beauty of moving parts.

The "Friends" in Art of Motion & Friends are the partners and makers we collaborate with — the people whose work we're proud to feature. Each work is chosen with the same eye for craft, motion, and quiet beauty that defines the brand.

The "& Friends"

Origin Story

AOM grew out of the founder's lifelong hobby of dissecting and reassembling things. Since childhood, he was drawn to taking objects apart to understand how they worked, fixing what was broken, and collecting unique pieces regardless of their monetary value. As he grew older, this curiosity matured into a deep appreciation for objects engineered to perfection — particularly metal models, which demand discipline and precision at every stage. He came to value not just the finished masterpiece, but the time and craft required to design, manufacture, and assemble it.

Our Philosophy

The guiding idea behind AOM is that movement speaks life. A still object is admired; a moving one is alive. AOM exists to celebrate that transition — the moment a precisely engineered piece stops being parts and starts being a machine.

What We Offer

Our first product line is a collection of scaled metal models inspired by real-world automotive, aviation, and industrial machinery. Each model is designed to be assembled and reassembled by the owner, and to function mechanically once built. Alongside these, we curate kinetic and mechanical works where moving parts come together in symbiosis — pieces we discover, vet, and bring into the line-up by collaborating with talented makers whose work reflects what AOM stands for.

The long-term vision for AOM is a gallery — a space where talented creators share work that speaks to what the brand stands for, where collectors and enthusiasts can come to connect with these pieces in person, and where each work finds its next home through bidding.
